  • Saling : BVI enjoys an exceptional climate year-round, offering safe, smooth sailing with line of sight navigation. The water and wind are calm, with wind speeds averaging 10 to 20 knots. Summer wind: 10-15 knots out of the southwest; winter wind: 15-25 knots out of the northeast.

AIR TRANSPORTATION

Please note that direct flights to the BVI airport are not available.

Airline companies flying from Montreal to The Virgin Islands or St.Thomas: Us Airways, American airline and Delta airline For Puerto Rico to The Virgin Islands: Air Sunshine, Cape Air, Seaborne airline, LIAT and American airline. The price varies between $ 700.00 and $ 1,000.00 depending on the season and the Airline. If arrival is a St. Thomas, there is a charge for the ferry $ 80.00 (round trip) to Soper Hole west end where we will pick you up. They have their last departure at 3pm. You need to take a flight that arrives earlier. The distance between the airport and the ferry is 30 minutes (taxi is about $9.00 per person).

  • OPTION A : Take an international flight to San Juan, Puerto Rico (SJU) and then switch to another airline to transfer to Tortola (approximate 30-minute flight).

 

  • OPTION B : Fly into the Cyril E. King Airport (STT) in the city of Charlotte Amalie on the US Virgin Island of St-Thomas ( From Montreal with a layover in Miami towards St-Thomas). From there, take a 40-minute ferry to the British Virgin Islands.

 

  • OPTION C : Fly into Tortola from St-Martin or another Caribbean island. Several flight options are available.

NOTE: Please use soft-shell luggage as it is easier to store in the boat.
